Release Information:

​Was released on January 18th 2018 at Sundance (a film festival for independent and alternative films). It was then released on October 5th 2018 in the United States.

Private Life is an independent movie, so will most likely have had a musch smaller budget than The Hobbit. If it was to have been released in the cinemas, It would probably have only been shown in cinemas like Cinema City who give independent movies screen time and exposure. However, It was released straight onto Netflix, an online monthly-subscription entertainment streaming service.

"The Hobbit" Trilogy

A story about an adventure a Hobbit, his Dwarf friends and good old Gandalf the Grey take to retrieve a Mountain Kingdom, but, must first acquire the precious Arkenstone to force other dwarf kingdoms to fight by their side to drive away Smaug who stands guard of the kingdom and its vast amounts of gold.

Budget: 180 million USD

The Hobbit was filmed in New Zealand and includes many high-profile actors like Martin Freeman, Benedict Cumberbatch and Ian McKellen. The budget for advertising was huge, allowing for special artwork available on the Hobbit Website (which is currently down). The movie is currently available in the Play store and iTunes store for around £40 for the extended edition of the trilogy.
